Wow! A stunning Victorian album dated 1876 with a lovely woman in profile on the cover and measures about 10x13”

Inside though……There are at least 230 individual die cuts, cards, cutouts, embossed, flocked, foiled, Dresden and all sorts of 150 year old paper goodies.

Photos show about 2/3 of the book. There are 7-8 loose pieces in front. All the cutouts and cards look wonderful with strong color and no water damage, etc. the albums paper is fragile and old, but expected for the age and composition of an album like this and none are stuck (or have been) together.

Only writing is on the inside back cover and has name and address of the original owner in pencil.

One of the most stunning albums I’ve ever seen of the era and it’s full of an entire snapshot collection leading upto and past the turn of the 20th century of an affluent Chicago woman.
