ABOUT THIS DOCK ELLIS CARD:
Doc Ellis was a hell of a guy. He dressed to the nines, always had a big beautiful car to drive, and his girlfriends were all beauty queens. You may already know about his famous LSD no-hitter. But you might not know that this was not the only time Dock pitched on acid. The 1970 no-no made him believe that LSD improved his pitching. This proved wrong, culminating in a 1974 game in which Ellis, tripping on acid again, decided to bean every Cincinnati Red who faced him.  He nailed Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, and Dan Dreissen before he was yanked.

About Grouchy:
21 years selling cards online. Before that, owner of Space City Cards Comics & Coins on Main St. in Houston. As a kid I loved baseball and football, and collected cards starting in 1959 - that's 60 years, but it feels like yesterday.  I have bought and sold millions of sports cards over the years. The kids who used to frequent my card shop named me the "Grouchy Old Man" because I had to keep them in line.  The nickname stuck. I'm not that grouchy anymore. I have over 100,000
online transactions, with an average feedback score of 100% over the years.
