I bought two absolutely striking original modern paintings with deconstructed canvases from an amazing artist I met on vacation in Rio de Janeiro Brazil sometime in 2002 or 2003. I wish I kept all his details, but after seeing his work, I paid a small fortune for these and hauled them on the plane back to the US. (The canvas panels do disassemble for easier transport.) I've treasured them ever since. Anyway, we are moving abroad soon and I'm starting the process of finding these a good home (check my profile for the second piece). I'll try to post a video that shows the amazing texture and layering of the paint (acrylic in canvas). Happy to answer any questions.
