Here we have what probably is an early 1960's 8 ohm 12" speaker for HiFi (console stereos etc) . It is manufactured by CTS probably for a Magnavox HiFi unit or something similar. It reads 7.7 ohms resistance. The voice coil does not rub and the spider sits flat and level. It has a nice ALNICO magnet and the ribbed cone responds well. Basket is not damaged or warped. The middle pin on the terminal mount does not connect to anything electrically, it is either there for support or to receive a Magnavox dedicated harness connector or something similar.  There was some minor spots of rust on one side of the magnet which has been removed and there is a tiny split in the cone where it meets the frame that has been repaired. Item will be double boxed and shipped correctly. Thank you

For those trying to match up to another speaker here as the numbers I found: On the cone paper - 426?26. On the magnet housing:
HX5, 137 545  and  78C153-17 both in green ink. HX5 in black ink. See pix..
