Pioneer PL-115D Record Player.

This is the later model with the detachable mains lead.

The turntable has had a minor service I have lubricated the motor I have replaced the noise suppression capacitors as these had broken down due to age as shown in photos.

When I received the turntable the underside cover was bowed inwards this was affecting turntable operation so I have reversed the cover this makes no difference in operation but when you look under a turntable you can see that this cover is bowed outwards now rather than inwards this piece could easily be replaced as its only a piece of hardboard should you wish to do this. Please see photos.

Overall this is in excellent condition at the photos clearly show.

There are some minor marks here and there consistent with a used vintage item please see photos.

I have fitted a brand new belt moments before listing.

The turntable does come with a cartridge however the stylus is no good I would recommend a replacement cartridge and stylus combination and a good budget option would be a Audio Technica ATN 91 cartridge with  ATN 91R stylus. These have very good reviews and sound much better than their price point would have you believe. I have this cartridge and stylus  combination on my pioneer PL-117D and very pleased with the results.

The turntable will be well wrapped and boxed for delivery they take considerable time and effort to pack securely and safely ensuring the turntable arrives with you in the same condition it left me. I may need to purchase a box specifically large enough for the turntable as well as using copious amounts of bubble wrap all depending on what I have at the time of sale so please allow for this when it comes to your expectations of delivery timescale..
