Antique Victorian Hatton Garden Wood Boxed Lady's Jewellery Cleaning Kit C1880
For sale is a very rare & charming box. Sold by JR Williams & Son of 108 Hatton Garden London. This "The Lady Jewel Cleaner kit" comes with a couple of pots, metal tin with cloth a brush & glove. Although the exact date this is from is difficult the only mention of this J R Williams & son is an advert from 1880 saying they had been in business 50 years. Nothing appears from the 20th century from them & the design & style of this box puts it from the 19th century. A super rare thing that would appeal to anyone who likes antique Jewellery.

I am far from an expert on wood types in fact I am a complete novice so will almost certainly get parts of the description wrong. With things made from wood often being changed & adapted over the years although I may suggest a date range for when it was new please do decide for yourself the correct period.

This object (as shown in the picture) stands roughly 22.5cm by 23.8cm wide by 8cm tall.
Condition
In antique condition with a slpit to the wood of the lid. In addition signs of age, use & cleaning. Please use the pictures to decide if this is the item for you in the condition you require.
