Made in the legendary Matsumoku factory in Nagano, Japan not long before it closed, this original finish candy red and black stripe guitar was the top of the Westone spectrum range.

With its heel-less neck (making it appear like a neckthru although it’s not), it has so many sound options due to the three push-pull knobs and 3-way switch that it can sound like pretty much anything you’re after.

First switch is a coil cut for the humbuckers, 2nd switch turns on the middle single coil, 3rd switch reverses the phase of the bridge humbucker. Many different pick-up options are possible from subtle to super/charged.

All-original, with everything working well. Lots of life in the frets. Includes the bend master pro tremolo and bar and original string lock. Great sounding Magnaflux unbalanced coil pickups. Weight is about 8lbs.

A few small scratches and dings as you would expect from a guitar of its age, the only minor eyesore being two small drill holes by the bridge (pictured) where a Roland thingy was placed by a previous owner. These would be easy to fill and respray if you want.

This is a really well-built and versatile guitar and it comes with that incredible 80s look!!!

Comes in a beaten-up but functional Westone case.
