Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5 - 1948 - 100% TESTED READY TO SHOOT - Refurbished Excellent

THIS IS NOT AN ESTATE FIND - EXCELLENT CAMERA - FULLY TESTED 

I have worked with this one to make it shoot are intended. This shows age but has that special patina of age 76. I patched a couple leather spots including the opening button. (see photos) Added a vintage strap, black dyed leather where needed and fully tested all functions.  Focal Plane shutter is nice. This has the Graphic Spring back so you will not shoot 120 films, but you're buying a large format camera so why shoot medium format film.  

 I personally handled this camera. 

DETAILS: 

• Shutter: works as intended.  All speeds and apetures working and sound correct.  Rated Superior 9-10
• Focal Plane Shutter: Fires what appears to be accurate at both high and low speeds.  Nice. 
• Lens: is a Kodak Ektar desired 127mm f/4.7 with excellent glass.  Very little interior dust.   Rated Superior 9-10
• Viewfinder: The rear dial has a chip but does not impede function.   
• Bellows: - Checked numerous times with LED flash & 5X's magnifying glasses to be without light leaks.  Very Nice. 
• Side Strap: - Replaced with original stock.  Good
• Racking: Carriage Rails/Yoke tracks in and out smoothly.  No damage to rear yoke guides. 
• Body:  As noted, some patched applied. Front Door Lock for closure is excellent.
• Rangefinder: Kalart will focus as intended. Very close to accurate.  In my opinion it does NOT need adjusted. 
• Infinity Stops: In correct infinity focus are accurate. 
• Back: Graphic Spring Back Complete with Viewing hood Ground Glass. 
• Tripod Sockets: in excellent condition.
• Serial # 844877 - 1948 Crown Graphic.
