Floy Dixon's singing and playing is firmly rooted in the Texas West Coast club and jump blues tradition. He was born in Marshall, Texas, on February 8, 1929, and moved to the West Coast in his teens. In 1949-52, he had five national cashbox R&B hits, making him one of the most popular and important artists of the era. He also toured Europe several times and toured the U.S. regularly.

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)                          

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
