The X1D Takes the essence of the massively popular X1 series and applies it to a fantastic new design that is adapt at capturing percussive instruments with fast transients. Great for miking up drums and percussion and even the percussive sound of acoustic piano.

The X1D utilises a Titanium sputtered capsule, replacing the gold sputter for stiffer and quicker transient response like the snap of a drum. The X1D also features a cardioid polar pattern that rejects off axis sounds, perfect for close miking a kick drum with little recorded spill from other drums in the kit.

Like All X1's the X1D has a -10dB pad and a bass cut. it also has a side mounted stand adapter for perfect positioning of the microphone, and an included pouch keeps the mic safe from the elements when not in use.
