He was simply known as The Old Man. Not even the oldest folks residing in Jenson County, Georgia could remember a time when he wasn't around. Most people stayed far away from the stone arch entrance marking the driveway leading up to the old Victorian mansion The Old Man called home. His white hair and beard were long and flowing, but always kept neatly combed and trimmed. Regardless of his appearance, the one thing everyone agreed upon was that The Old Man was a recluse who wished to be left alone and most people were very willing to accommodate that wish. The long driveway to his house meandered around trees that looked to be hundreds of years old. The whole place existed in a mysterious aura much like that which surrounded The Old Man. It would be years before one soul, Nick Hanley Kensington, would bravely seek out an encounter that would change his own life forever and solve one of the greatest mysteries mankind had never known. "FIRST DEATH" is the story of the Kensington family and how events generations apart are seemingly related in ways not easily understood. Almost too late, the unbelievable truth is finally discovered by the last son of the Kensington line - a truth almost too incredible to comprehend.
