He teaches English and currently lives and works on Long Island, NY with his family About the Illustrator JoAnn Maroldo is a self-taught artist whose paintings of nature are characterized by a sense of tranquility and solitude. Whether painting in pastels or oils, she invites the viewer into her paintings with her intricate detail.
