I am selling 3 Small Water Soldiers in this listing, You are buying 3 Water Soldiers ( Stratiotes aloides ) each plant will be approx 2 to 4 inches. These are young plants but they grow extremely quickly. Example of size of the Water soldiers you are bidding on, are the first 3 photos. Last photo is a mature plant..

Just gently place in your pond, no need to plant in soil.

Description

Water Soldiers are classed as floating plants although in my opinion they could also be called a yo-yo plant as they sit at the bottom of the pond in winter then gradually rise to the surface as the weather warms up till they float and partially rise out of the water looking more like the leaves on top of a pineapple.... They then flower, sink below the surface and produce large buds and then rise again, Until the Autumn and yes they sink again..... A very interesting plant indeed. A must have for any pond.

Overall size once mature is approx 35cm ( 13inches )
