This is a listing for a Minolta X-300s SLR camera body dating from the early 1990s.

The camera is in very good cosmetic condition apart from the rubberised grip which is cracked in places and showing the usual white marks from normal use. Unfortunately the shutter will not fire and the film will not wind on despite installing new batteries. This is apparently a fairly common problem with the X-series cameras and is normally caused by a failed capacitor in the small circuit board in the base of the camera. It could also be a connectivity issue. There are videos on Youtube showing how to replace the capacitor.

The camera comes with a body cap, viewfinder cover and full instruction manual.
