A fair copy of this very rare book about a French woman who has converted to Protestantism; adventures include outwitting assassins hired by a Catholic priest to kill her; two years protected by God while forced to live in the woods; divine intervention in her being reunited with her family, who also converted.       

Some loose and torn pages but complete and readable with some effort; one of the loose pages has some edge words that have wron away but it can be mostly deciphered.  The leather covers are quite worn.
