Up for sale is an antique engraving by Italian artist Jacopo De Barbari (1460-1516). this is titled Venetie MD or Map (View) Of Venice. This shows the aerial view of Venice circa 1500. marked in the left corner Jacopo De varbari-1500 and in the right corner, Edizione O. Bohm-Venezia. The original woodcut was done in 1500. This hand colored engraving was issued in the early 1900's by Osvaldo Bohm. So around 100-120 years old. Comes double matted and in a metal frame with glass front. Frame measures 36" X 22", so I would assume the engraving is 30" X 16". Engraving look to be in excellent condition, no stains or damage visible, colors are still vibrant no loss from sunlight. Frame is also in excellent condition. This was bought years ago in a small shop in Venice that specializes in antique books, maps and prints.
