Up for auction is a Pfaltzgraff 12” bread tray in the popular “Yorktowne” pattern.  The Yorktowne pattern was first introduced in 1967 to honor the town of York, Pennsylvania (a key city in early American history). The pattern was inspired by Pfaltzgraff's original crock and jug pattern and consists of soft florals and smooth glazing resulting in a convincingly antique character. A highly versatile pattern, Yorktowne complements a wide range of decors.  The pattern was discontinued in 2007.

The bread tray is in nice used condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing (see pictures).  The bread tray has the words “a joyous heart makes the loaves taste better” embossed around the edge on the front and has the small castle in a circle logo embossed on the back including the words “Pfaltzgraff, Copyright, USA.”

Size: Approximately 12inches long, 6 ½ inches wide, with an edge height of nearly 1 5/8-inches.

Thanks for looking!
