This is a great early bowl.   Purchased at an antique sale.   Unfortunately I can't accurately date it, but it is old (I paid a lot for it).   Hopefully soneone can recognize the style and help.

Looks like red clay (mixed with a light brown) over grey clay.  

It's porous.

Not sure if native american indian or earlier.

Crack inside does not go through the bowl.   Nice texture.

Measures approx 5.5" across x 2.25" high.
