Condition GOOD: publisher's original green cloth binding with gilt stamped decorations to the boards and spine; short tear in the cloth at the bottom of the spine and fraying at the corners of the boards; a few small marks to the cloth; slight roll to the spine but the binding remains firm and secure; untrimmed page edges - some with short edge tears; page edges,  endpapers and half-title page browned; title page slightly foxed, and the occasional minor grubby mark or spotting thereafter. Illustrations good.  No dustjacket.
