Up for sale is a vintage Ivory Queen Tenor Banjo.

Not too sure of the date but would say 1930s and was made by the B&S Master of London .

As you can see from the photos it is a stunning looking instrument with simulated mother of pearl finger board, sides and back plus a very ornate body.

The instrument will need a setup and a fresh set of strings as the action is quite high at the moment - there is bow in the neck also .

For an instrument which is around 100 years old it is in good condition , there is some discolouration to the pearl in places but is complete - the finish on the neck has started to flake off ( see photos ) which is purely cosmetic but please take it into account if you intend on bidding.

The banjo comes with what looks like its original case which is a bit tatty and has been taped up around the bottom ,I would not trust the case but will get the instrument to you in one piece .

Great addition to any collection.
