Up for auction is a vintage c1944 men's Elgin Lord Elgin wristwatch. 21 jewels manual wind, cal. 559. Nice classic look. 14k yellow gold filled case and back. No inscription. Possibly original Elgin brown leather strap.

Runs, and seems to keep time. Crystal is average. Dial is decent. Hands are decent. Case has average wear, with corner brassing. Strap is falling apart.

Case is 23mm wide, or 23.5mm with the crown. 37mm long lug to lug. Lug width is 17mm.
Total weight is 26.8 grams.
