This is an original Barbie outfit from the 1960s, perfect for collectors and Barbie enthusiasts.

This is a vintage outfit from 1965. It has been stored in a plastic Barbie wardrobe box for 50+ years.

The turquoise chiffon bodice has faded a bit. There is a small mark / stain on the front blue part, see pictures. I have not tried to clean it. The hem on one sleeve of the jacket has unraveled. The top button of the jacket is missing. The hat is missing. (I am not a Barbie expert but they issued a reproduction of this outfit which has a hat, but I can’t find the one that came with ours). See pictures, I tried to show any defects in photos, but please ask questions before bidding. This is the outfit you will receive and it was photographed just before listing.

One original / previous owner. It’s amazing that she has the original shoes (marked Japan) and the gloves for this outfit. The poms on the scarf thingie are soft and still fluffy, despite being stored in the Barbie wardrobe case. It is still attached to the shoulder of the jacket as originally issued. It’s hard to show the pretty fabric - it’s a brownish and gold tweed that has a nice sparkle but not too much. So glamorous!
