This is a 1981 first Ace printing of the paperback TOMOE GOZEN by Jessica Amanda Salmonson, the first book in the Tomoe Gozen Saga.

This book is intact and readable but shows visible signs of reading, wear, storage, handling, or age. Please see the photos and read the below written descriptions for a full sense of the condition of this book.

Spine has some creasing from reading but binding is still good. Spine also has some corner wear.

Front cover has a significant tear in the top part of the long left edge and other visible corner and edge wear. Back cover has corner denting and discoloration of white surface area most noticeable along spine edge.

Interiors of covers yellowed from age. Page edges yellowed from age. The front page appears to have a small area of discoloration or staining along right edge, possibly from long-ago moisture exposure.

This paperback feels handled, read, stored, and is well traveled. It shows age and wear, but it's an affordable copy if you're simply interested in a reading copy of this book by one of the great and underappreciated women of 1980s fantasy fiction.
