Draughtsman Kit

This fabulous locking solid Mahogany wooden Box has a brass centre cartouche and a similar brass key escutcheon

The central cartouche is engraved with the letters: E.H.M.

Inside is a collection of Technical Drawing tools comprising various instruments constructed mainly from Brass and Steel

It has two adjustable dip pens made from a phenolic material with steel heads

These are housed in a lift-out felt lined tray with storage space underneath

Under the tray are more instruments including an ebony and brass adjustable parallel rule and some oversize 'drawing pins' along with the special adjusting tool for the compasses and dividers

The inside of the lid is lined with a soft padded felt material 

Complete with brass lock and working key

A Lovely collection in Very Good Condition considering their age

(Signs of surface rust starting to appear on some of the the steel components - easily dealt with)

The box has been very well used and has suffered some veneer loss in a few places - please study the photos for finer details
