ABBA stamps FDC First Day Covers. Sweden 1983 / 2024.

First Day Cover envelopes with stamp sheets in mint condition. 

In 1983 the Swedish Post Office issued a sheet of 5 stamps commemorating "Music in Sweden" with one stamp featuring ABBA on stage during their 1979 tour, from photos by Anders Hanser. Over 40 years later, on April 6th 2024, ABBA were again honoured by their home country - this time with a set of 3 stamps  commemorating the 50th anniversary of the group's International breakthrough at the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton in 1974.

These FDC envelopes contain the respective stamp sheets, stamped with the date of issue in each case and include the information cards inside both envelops.
