HP Velotechnik Streetmachine recumbent bicycle is. Front and rear suspension take the bumps out.

Size adjustment by sliding the bottom bracket back and forward so the pedals move in relation to the seat. I’m 5’8” and it’s currently set up for me. Note that you may also need to add or remove chain links to adjust.

NOTE: previous owner had the boom shortened, so this won’t suit someone particularly tall, I haven’t seen how much adjustment there is.

I bought this due to a few months of chronic back pain, but the pain cleared up within weeks of purchase so I never really got going. It’s not an easy bike to get used to, took me about three or four rides to feel confident and in control.

The bike’s not in bad condition, could do with replacing the grips and rerouting the cables, as well as replacing the chain protectors… all works as is though and there is plenty of life in the components.

Shimano 3x9.
