If you don't know what is wrong with your Key2 and want to try and keep it going I can help you diagnose exactly what might be wrong with it and identify if it can be improved or restored for continued use. I may be able to help you keep your device working whilst you source a replacement.

No other UK non-Blackberry professional phone repair specialist can help as far as I am aware.

I will also advise on repair or replacement, having full knowledge of where the very few new old stock items are located as part of this service.

I will guide you on the pitfalls of importing Chinese devices and the unexpected problems of some European suppliers who are inadvertently selling devices that are misdescribed and not fit for resale in the UK.


What I provide :

1. Device diagnosis to confirm faults and device viability, either remotely or via tracked Royal Mail postage

2. Immediate option of a loan / replacement device (by separate agreement).

3. Repair advice - or advice on how to procure an identical (non-Chinese market) device.

4. Potential restoration of your device to a more usable or fully repaired status (on approval and at quoted cost).

4. Return of your device by tracked Royal mail postage (at cost).


Please note :

1. This is a non-refundable service and I do not guarantee to get your Key2 working again.

2. I will not work with any other Blackberry model, other than Key2, or any other device manufacturer.

3. I will only diagnose your device under this purchased service and do not guarantee it is possible to fix your Key2.

4. If you wish for an attempt to restore, repair or recondition your device I will provide advice and / or a quote and a suggestion of how viable the repair will be. Also how much longer your Key2 might last. Also advice on how to protect or restore it in the future. Some repairs / fixes are simple and can be completed at no extra cost. I will help you procure a replacement if neccesary.

Simple process :

1. Purchase my Key2 service, providing a BRIEF description of the IMEI number and key issue(s) in a message to me.

2. Send photos and more detailed information by email or Whatsapp when requested (usually same-day) for initial remote diagnosis and advice.

3. If required and agreed, I will provide a Royal Mail postage label for you, at cost, to ship your device by a tracked, insured service direct to me (either same day or next working day).

4. I will undertake further diagnosis and may be able to restore your device to a better working condition. If there is additional cost involved you will be advised of this prior to any work being undertaken. 

5. I will send your device back via Royal Mail tracked service within 3 working days, at cost.

Collection and delivery:

I only use the Royal Mail next day before 1pm service, insured to your chosen level of cover (up to £500 is £5, £1k is less than £10) although this service sometimes takes more than one working day (in which case you get a full refund of the postal charge from Royal Mail).
