Original photographic glass negative in fairly good condition for age complete with original paper sleeve.

Paper sleeve is labelled (but crossed out) "Amsterdam" - undated but c1910s.

About The Photographer
Sourced from a large collection by a prolific photographer from the early part of the 20th Century called John Joseph William Carruthers. John Carruthers was a member of the Acton Photographic Society and also Secretary & Treasurer of the Hammersmith Hampshire House Photographic Society (both affiliated to the Royal Photographic Society Of Great Britain). He travelled extensively around Europe and the Far East with his camera and exhibited many of his photographs. He has been listed in the British Journal Photographic Almanac.
