15" Apple MacBook Pro Laptop with Quad Core Intel Core i7-2760QM Processor running at 2.40 to 3.50 GHz.

I'm not sure what's wrong with this laptop but I give up. If I power it on it just asks if I want to reset my password (see photos). I choose to ignore to reset my password at which point the screen backlight seems to go off. I've tried the test with a torch through the apple logo on the back of the lid and I can see the screen is working normally but with no backlight.

Because of this I cant reset or wipe or even use the laptop properly so I've just removed the HDD instead and am selling the rest of the machine.

Battery does not charge. The charger lights up (adapter needs a wiggle) and the machine works fine and stays on but the battery never charges.

Machine was in good working order before the 'mystery' fault developed.

Machine is in very good clean, tidy shape all over. Selling for spares or repairs.

FAULTY MACHINE - NO HDD, COULD HAVE LCD BACKLIGHT PROBLEMS. BATTERY NOT CHARGING. NO POWER ADAPTER INCLUDED. LAPTOP ONLY

A lot of spares for the price of the processor alone. Great to harvest for spares (screen, mobo, wifi module, fans, RAM, SSD etc) or if you know how to fix it then you can get a nice machine that cost a whopping £1799 for a fraction of the price!
