19th/20th C. Treen Ware Spice Trio Salt, Pepper & Toothpick Holder Bouquet RARE


  • For your consideration is a very interesting and unusual spice trio
  • Finely elaborated treen ware bouquet consisting of a ball shaped salt / pepper shaker, a tulip shaped salt/pepper shaker and a tulip shaped toothpick holder
  • At least this is what we believe this puzzling set was meant to be used for, but your guess is as god as ours...
  • All three stay on long stems and look like flowers
  • The heads are removable, in order to be filled up
  • The "bouquet" could be arranged in a small vase at the table
  • We used a glass flower frog for the pictures, not included
  • Circa late 19th/turn of the 20th century, found in New England
  • All original

  • Measurements: The ball shaped one is approximately 6.75" long, the tulip salt is 6" long and the toothpick holder is 6.25 long; the diameters vary slightly between 2" and 2.25" 

  • Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. All original.
