The Gurkha Army was involved in a battle against the Japanese in Malaysia. The Japanese won the battle and the Gurkha Army was relocated to Singapore. In World War 2 there were 40 Gurkha Battalions in British service. Side by side Gurkha and Commonwealth troops fought in Syria Italy, Greece, Singapore, Burma. Gurkhas are soldiers from Nepal who are recruited into the British Army. During the last 200 years, Gurkhas are known to be fearless fighters, identified by their knife called the Kukri, a machete like blade used by Gurkhas since the 13th Century. Gurkha soldiers are renown for their loyalty and bravery.


In new condition and the magazine is in used condition as I bought it to go with the Gurkhas soldier. It is full of interesting information. There are a number of dents in the plastic bubble cover but the soldier inside is unaffected.
