Authenticity:

We stand by the authenticity of every item we sell. We verify the provenance of our inventory prior to purchasing. We do not take any material we believe has been altered or we believe are forgeries. We refuse the material or destroy it if it is part of a large lot. If any coin, stamp or piece of currency we have sold proves to be a forgery or altered in any way, we will gladly refund your money.

Payment:

• Payment is expected within 4 days of close of auction. If this time period is not met contact must be made to us as to the date payment will be made.
• EBay will automatically open an “Unpaid Item Case” if payment is not made by the end of 4 days.
• We use eBay Managed Pay services for payment.

Shipping:

• If this item is designated for international sales, we will ship the item to Erlanger, KY and eBay will be responsible for shipping to the destination outside the U.S. eBay charges for shipping from Kentucky to the final destination. Those charges are totally out of our control.
• To receive combined shipping on multiple items won, you must pay for all items with one payment. If you have purchased multiple items and are ready to pay send us a final invoice request so that we can combine the shipping to the required amount. We send out invoices within 1 business day after the auction is completed. A business day is defined as Monday through Friday unless it is a holiday commonly recognized in the U.S. Shipping will be made within 1 business day of payment receipt.  NOTE to our non-U.S. customers: International First Class Mail through the USPS may take up to 3 weeks before you receive the item(s). Please wait 20 days before contacting us.
• Shipping will be via USPS first class mail unless otherwise stipulated. This usually takes 3-5 days unless the item is shipped out of the country. Should you win multiple auctions, or plan on bidding across several days, please notify us so that we can combine items won into a single shipment.

Terms of Sale

Our return policy is simple. You are guaranteed to be satisfied. If you, as the buyer, are unhappy with your purchase, you will have 14 days in which to return it, no questions asked. The only exception to this deals with silver bullion. The price fluctuations in precious metals can sometimes be extreme, both up and down. When we sell bullion, we always sell under spot and let you know when the spot price was applied. If the price goes up, it is in your favor. If the price goes down, it is not a reason to return the bullion coins. Prices fluctuate – that is the precious metals market.

We are hopeful that the pictures and descriptions are such that there should be no reason to return an item. If you do wish to return the item for any reason, our return policy applies. If you do return an item, we will refund your payment minus shipping and handling costs upon receipt of the item or replace the item with an agreed upon substitute, again, after receipt of the item.

Should we feel that anyone is abusing the return policy such as sending back items repeatedly, it will be to our discretion as to whether to continue selling items to that individual.

Service:

E&L Coins strives to give 5 STAR service by providing quality coins, currency or stamps at a reasonable price. We state up front what our policies are, shipping rates and shipping frequency. When you give 4 STARS, it may seem like a great score for instance a 4 in Shipping Time means "Quickly", eBay, however, considers this to be a sub-par mark. Their standards require all sellers to maintain a 4.8 rating and above or be penalized with higher fees and more.
