This is a pretty awesome set of earrings.  Victorian Era works of art.  I am 99% sure they are Eastern European. 

The unknown black stone measure approx. 12mm by 9mm across.  The Rose Cut Diamonds range in size from 2.5mm to 3mm for an estimated carat range of between 1.5 and 2.5ctw. for the pair.  I cannot get an accurate quality grade on the stones due to the cuts, but they are no better than SI2 and no better than J color.  Somewhere in there.

The Halo section of the earrings measure approx. 20mm north to south by 17mm east to west. They are fully hallmarked, have been fully tested, and verified weighing in at 8.2 grams. There are no problems.  This item is pre-owned and there will be ordinary and normal use marks. Comes from a clean, smoke-free home. 

There is no evidence that any of the stones have been replaced. This pair of earrings is in awesome condition.
