These were my grand daughters and show PRACTICALLY no sign off wear on soles ..

she wore bought them from local Doc Martins shop  , wore them around the house a few times 

and then school changed policy on boots and said NO YELLOW STITCHING

They are a smooth polished deep purple colour

note , original Doc Martins laces were removed by her and lsot ( replaced with just black laces )
