There is a twist at the peg head into the start of the neck. I've done my best to show this is the pictures. 

You are welcome to arrange your own courier, but would have to be insured as I cannot take responsibility for any damages occurred in transit. I believe U.P.S are OK but I cannot accept parcelforce as they do not insure boxed instruments as far as I am aware.   

I cannot weigh the boxed banjo at home either .

I can dismantle banjo and send via parcelforce as instrument parts for £15 if this is  a good option for you?. Seems a very safe way also which has worked out in the past. 

I would have to add the postage cost to the winning bid amount and send you a request amount for new total including p&p
