VERY IMPORTANT ITEM INFORMATION, PLEASE READ! This auction is for an antique Gebruder Heubach Piano Baby. This realistically executed all bisque figure of a young girl seated on an upholstered stool with fringe at base is looking downward while reading an open book and is in the process of turning the pages. She wears an loose fitting “ off-the shoulder “nightdress with ruffled collar that aligns with the edges of her pleated mop cap with flowers in front, secured by a hair ribbon in colors incorporated into the dress. Her deeply sculpted curly blond hair protrudes out and onto the forehead, as well as covering her ears and reaching shoulders in back. She wears no shoes, but her white molded socks cover her feet. Stamped in red inside the hollow base is a Gebruder Heubach "Sun Mark", used from 1887-1915, it also reads “ Schutz-marke DEP “ and "Made in Germany".
