Offering for your consideration is this cute Vintage 1970's Brown Hound Dog Cookie Jar or Doggy Bone Jar.  This dog is kneeling on his front legs in a playful or begging position with wide open eyes and red down hanging nearly to the ground.  His body has some texture to resemble fur.  This guy stands approximately10" tall at the tail x 7" from hip to hip x 8" front to back.  There is one manufacturing flaw/chip on the edge of the lid.  It is completely glazed over as shown in the photo.  Also the eyes, nose and tongue were cold painted onto the item and as a result, there is some paint loss especially on the nose and tongue (shown in photos).  

Please note that my items are VINTAGE and most have age related wear.  I am not an expert, only an admirer of the items that I remember from earlier times....Each item that I sell is at least 20 years old and may be up to 70+ years old, which means me or someone at one point owned and loved it--so when you are bidding remember it is NOT NEW.  I try to give an accurate description and include photos to help describe the item.
