A WONDERFUL EARLY 19TH CENTURY FOLK ART WATERCOLOR ON PAPER PAINTING OF THE FAMOUS 13TH CENTURY SCOTTISH CASTLE, "BOTHWELL CASTLE".
IT HAS BOLD COLORS AND IS SIGNED IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER BY THE ARTIST, "J.C. WHITEHALL".
PROBABLY ENGLISH, CIRCA 1820-1830 IN ITS ORIGINAL GOLD PAINTED WOOD FRAME AND STILL RETAINING ITS ORIGINAL HAND BLOWN GLASS.
A GREAT EARLY RENDITION OF THE FAMOUS BOTHWELL CASTLE IN SCOTLAND.
THIS IS PROBABLY AN ARTIST'S COPY OF ONE OF THE MANY 17TH - 18TH CENTURY PAINTINGS AND PRINTS OF THIS IMPORTANT LANDMARK.
GREAT VISUAL PIECE WITH BOLD COLORS.
ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING FRAME AND HAND BLOWN GLASS.
WE COULD NOT FIND ANY INFORMATION ON THE ARTIST.
We did not remove the piece from the frame.
Frame is 19" wide and 14 1/2" tall, sight is 15" by 10 1/2".
Typical wear and imperfections with age.
There is some minor foxing and staining, (see photos).

Shipping
We generally ship within five business days of receiving your cleared payment. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE USUALLY SHIP ON THE THURSDAY OR FRIDAY AFTER THE SALE. MOST OF OUR ITEMS ARE SHIPPED FEDEX OR USPS.
Please understand that we are out on the road for most of the week trying to find the items we sell. Because of the nature of our items we cannot determine the shipping until after the sale. Over sized items such as furniture can take a few extra days.
Local pick up on larger items is available. If you win more than one item on the same day we will gladly combine shipping.
