1951 Press Photo Isaac Stern, violinist will play in Civic Auditorium-Seattle

This is an original press photo. Isaac Stern, famed violinist and a favorite with Seattle audiences will be the final attraction on the season's Artist Course sponsored by the Women's Committee of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra for its children's concerts fund. He will play his 250 year old Guarnerius violin in the Civic Auditorium Monday evening, April 2 at 8:30 o'clock. Isaac Stern, 31, top ranking young US violinist and Vera Lindenblit, 24, German born refugee, former UN researcher, he for the second time, she for the first, near Tel Aviv. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 9-27-1951.
