The case is in solid shape but has a couple of scratches on top. The luxurious deep red velvet lining is beautiful. It comes with an Empire Professional Style Rouge Polishing Cloth, although used, it's in really good condition. There is also a receipt dated 1954 showing a purchase of 10 Forks.

The set as a whole is very nice, with only a few pieces showing slight tarnish; mainly on the edges. A couple of the serving pieces do show overall darkening.
