The first thimble is from Starved Rock State Park, Illinois which is made of stainless steel. It has a pisturesque of the park with green mountain, clear clouds and trees.

The second thimble is, I think, made of wood. There are two bands of carving just below the edge. The words on the thimble is "Land of Lincoln" and "Springfield, Illinois. The base has a round carving around it.

The third thimble is made of silver stainless steel and it is from Cahokia, Illinois. The oblong edge has a design around it. The brown picture is a man reading the newspaper in my opinion.

The fourth thimble is from Chicago, Illinois made of pewter. Around the thimble is the city of Chicago and on top of the thimble are the tallest buildings and shorter buildings between the two tall buildings.

The fifth thimble is made of pewter with raised "Illinois" lettering and below that is the raised picture of, I believe, Grant. It has stars on top of the thimble.

The sixth thimble is the hometown of Grant called Galena, Illinois. It is made of pewter and has the painting of his home.

The seventh thimble is made of silver stainless steel the famous Rainforest Cafe which is located in Chicago, Illinois. The background is black and the name of the restaurant and city is in gold. It is inside an oblong shape with a design along the edges.
