Nikon Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Up for sale is a parts/repair Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G (feel free to view the actual pictures of this lens in the gallery). Unfortunately, I don't know the history of this lens however I was able to test it and will list my honest observations. First off, the zoom is jammed and will not move. It's stuck around 40mm or so. I was able to get autofocus and manual focus to work however and take some sharp photos. The aperture opens/closes manually using the rear aperture lever, however it will no longer spring back to place and is defective in that sense. The lens itself shows some wear. Front element has a few scuffs and glass has some internal dust. 
So to recap: Zoom is jammed, and aperture does not spring back, but everything else seems to work OK.
I'm selling As-Is for parts/repair. There may be parts that need attention that I'm not aware of - I have not sent this in for estimate or repair, nor am I repair expert. I do not know if a repair has ever been attempted either.
