This is a genuine Porsche item. It was removed from a very low mileage 2008 Cayman S-Sport and is the same as used on some 997 GT3 and other special edition Caymans and Boxster models of that era. The part number on this item reads 997.424.075.90 A15, though my OPC also tells me that the part number was superseded with 997.424.075.92 A15 which is an identical part. All the clips on the bottom remain intact. The gaiter part is indistinguishable from brand new. The knob itself shows slight wear, as can be seen in the pictures, but remains in very good condition.
