Set of Sony SS-CBX20 stereo speakers. A decent set of speakers
for the period. With original cables hard-wired to the units, and ready for
connection to a HiFi system as a drop in replacement or upgrade. Originally
supplied with a Sony CMT-BX20 HiFi and other models, these speakers are an
excellent general purpose choice. Will suit any small HiFi setup or similar
with the appropriate connectors (see connection diagram).
Classic, old school passive, air suspension sound. There is
no substitute.
This pair of Sony speakers is a nice speaker system to setup
in in a home office or small space. They are very compact. Finding room for
them should be pretty easy. Excellent sound from a bookshelf speaker. Tested,
very clean and clear sound, no abuse. Greyish black finish cases with original
black fabric grill, in acceptable vintage condition. They look great on the
shelf too!
Condition:
Vintage retro set of Sony SS-CBX20 stereo speakers for use
with any HiFi with the appropriate analogue connection. The speakers are in
full-working condition, fully tested and guaranteed. Nice crisp sound; full
range with bass reflex. A decent set of speakers for the period. There is some
cosmetic damage to the speaker casing (see pictures) – numerous scuff marks and
scratches, and some minor wear to the corners at the backs of the units. The
grills are in good condition, and look great on a shelf.
