Limoges Style ‘Paris Hotel De Ville’ Porcelain Trinket Pot With Lid - Souvenir ware or hotel guest room ornament.

There are no makers marks on this item, however it is typically done in the style of Limoges, who also produced souvenir wares for this hotel. This item is however unmarked so I can’t attribute to a specific brand.

Some signs of wear commensurate with age and use including some marks to surfaces, fading and wear to gilt decor and a surface chip on side elevation at one end just below the rim, shown in photographs (specifically the last 3 photos show this chip).

Approximate measurements;

Length 8cm, width 6cm and height 4cm.

There is a number ‘1669’ impressed into the base of the pot.

This could be a hotel souvenir item, perhaps sold in the local area or a hotel shop, or maybe a soap or trinket dish from a hotel bedroom that was designed to stay in the hotel 🤫👍🙂. Does have a tourist vibe so was likely a souvenir item 🤷‍♂️
