Rare Foton 35mm film camera by Bell and Howell with Cooke Amotal Anastigmat 2 inch f/2  "Blue Circle" lens and original hard case. The camera serial # is 696838 and the lens is 301949.

The camera can be wound and fires at all speeds, except for one issue: it looks like the little spring that pushes the second vertical curtain down has unwound, so it stops at the bottom and does not return back up unless pressed a little bit down (you can see it on the 9th picture). This could be an easy fix, I am not sure.

The viewfinder is bright and clear, the rangefinder patch is rather dim but the double image still can be seen. Focusing ring rotates easily. Cosmetically there are some scuffs on the leatherette, and it begins to peel slightly around the edges, other than that looks good. The original case has the strap missing, and there are some scuffs but overall is in good shape with no serious scratches and no tears.

The lens is in great condition overall, glass is clean and clear with no scratches, few faintest hairline cleaning marks on the front coating (very minor, only noticeable with a flashlight), no fungus, no haze, no separation, minimal dust. Aperture works well with no oil on blades. This lens has M39 rear thread and can be easily adapted to modern mirrorless cameras (you just need a M42-M39 step-down ring, M42-M39 17-31mm focusing helicoid and an adapter from M39/L39 to your camera), it covers full frame and is an absolute joy to shoot with, quite sharp from wide open with great contrast and beautiful vintage "Cooke look". Cosmetically it looks excellent with some minor scuffs/oxidation spots on the finish, no scratches or dents.
