The USSR bought equipment and all spare parts from a watch factory that went bankrupt during the Great Depression
Watch manufacturing technologies, the watch itself, and the equipment itself were already outdated for the United States
That is why the company went bankrupt. Therefore, the USSR was able to buy everything necessary for the production of watches
