✿ ITEM: Beautiful PAIR (2 panels) of curtains, complete with matching pelmet made to measure for its last home in a medium weight woven cotton tapestry that has a slight sheen.

The pelmet/valance is pencil pleated and has darling passementerie trimming/edging.

These are vintage, dating back to the early 1980's and benefit from being freshly dry- cleaned 

✿ CONDITION: Offered in good preowned condition with the following to note:

1. Sun streaking to the lining and a slither of fade at the leading edges

2. Some surface dust that I may have missed

The fabric remains in super condition, the fibres are not tired at all. No rips, holes etc etc.

 

Whilst marks can be quantified, smells cannot. This has been sourced from a clean and smoke free home and is stored in the very same condition chez moi, BUT you are kindly reminded that this is a PREOWNED - so for hygiene sake, it is recommended that you clean BEFORE using. That said, I did not pick up anything offensive at all.

✿ FABRIC TEXTURE/COLOUR and DESIGN: Medium weight woven tapestry fabric Chinoiserie toile - pictorial depictions of 18th Century Chinese gardens of paradise.

Muted gold colour way for the backing and earthy tones for the pattern.

✿ LINING TYPE: Fully lined in a cotton blend lining fabric most often referred to as standard lined

✿ HEADER TYPE: Pencil pleat header - the cords have remain uncut so the widths of the curtains will adjust to suit. This can be used for both track and pole (with rings) systems 

Measurements LAID FLAT +/- 2 cm

 

Width (SIDE TO SIDE) 188 cm or 74 inches (flat along the bottom hem)

Length (TOP TO BOTTOM) 205 cm or 74 inches - there is a workable small 3.5 inches in the hem (upturn)
