Up for auction is a set of 4 Pfaltzgraff tea cups and saucers in the “Village” pattern.  The “Village” pattern was introduced in 1976 for America's bicentennial.  It is a charming Early American-style design rendered in dark brown against a light brown background.  The pattern was retired in 1996.

All cups and saucers are in good used condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing (see pictures). All cups have the embossed large castle back stamp.  Back stamps on the saucers vary but are either embossed or missing.

Size: Approximately Cup is 5 ¼ inches handle to rim, 4 ¼ inches diameter, and 2 1/2 inches height. Saucer is 6 ½ inch diameter, 1 inch height.
