Introducing the Drobo 5N2 NAS, a powerful solution for network attached storage. This device comes with five bays, four of which are compatible with 3.5-inch hard drives and one of which is compatible with mSATA solid-state drives. The Drobo 5N2 NAS also features a hybrid storage solution, combining HDD and SSD for optimal performance. In addition to its storage capabilities, this device also offers a range of features such as cloud storage, hot plug support, and an in-built media server. The Drobo 5N2 NAS is compatible with a variety of interfaces including SATA III, Ethernet, and mSATA. With a sleek black design and a compact form factor, this NAS is the perfect addition to any home or office.

This is for a USED Drobo 5N2 that is FULLY FUNCTIONAL. I have provided pictures of the Drobo Dashboard on my Mac as well as pictures with the front plate removed (it's magnetic) and a picture of the unit (powered down) with power adapter. Note: this is not the factor power adapter. It went bad and I purchased a new one which is MUCH better.

This unit was used for media storage. I have moved to an entirely cloud solution so I no longer need this. It includes a 256gb mSATA (a "hot cache" that provides for improved performance when delivering media like movies) as well as 15TB of storage. That is four Western Digital RED NAS drives: 6TB + 3TB + 3TB + 3TB.

This Drobo5N2 which includes 2 bonded 1GB NIC ports has been fantastic. I have never had a problem with it. I purchased it new, actually, about 8 months ago to replace a Drobo5N that I had for 5 years. Even though Drobo has gone out of business (so you can't get apps for it), as a NAS it's great.

Note: If you are buying this to put your drives into from your own Drobo 5N or 5N2, you MUST make sure the firmware is the same. That is the only thing you need to do. If they are the same, you can simply take all the drives out of mine, put in all your drives (starting at the top) and everything will work like new.
